Introduction. Modern war is a powerful stress factor that affects the health and combat readiness of military personnel. Currently, the literature provides extremely insufficient information on the quantitative characteristics of the influence of hygienic factors on the degree of comfort of their experience by representatives of combat units, which is important for developing measures to reduce their harmful effects.
Purpose: quantitative assessment of the features of the influence of hygienic factors on the level of comfort of servicemen who were directly in the combat zone.
Scope and methods of the study. The study was conducted using a specially developed modified questionnaire (20 questions), which included in its structure the question of the person's transfer of the influence of significant hygienic factors of the combat environment. 136 servicemen (male) aged 21 to 50 years, who were inpatients, were examined.
Results. Several patterns were revealed when servicemen were exposed to hygienic factors of the combat environment. Groups of hyposensitive and hypersensitive servicemen were identified. The first group includes representatives of group 1, and the second group includes representatives of group 3. Under the influence of weather-related factors, the sanitary and hygienic factor - "lack of possibility of regular washing" and medical and hygienic factors ("violation of sleep mode (duration, continuity)" and "violation of the diet"), a group with an average level of comfort (group 2) is separated. Under the influence of the sanitary and hygienic factor - "insufficient equipment" from other groups, group 2 differs from the other groups in the level of reduced comfort. The reasons for the presence of such effects should be identified in further research.
Conclusions. The heterogeneity of the influence of environmental hygienic factors on the level of comfort of servicemen in the combat zone has been established. Quantitative estimates of the influence of various hygienic factors on servicemen with different levels of sensitivity to the feeling of comfort of the environment have been obtained. The established patterns should be used for planning and developing measures to reduce the impact of hygienic factors on the body of military personnel who are in conditions of increased danger.
