Relevance. Recent literature highlights the necessity to consolidate findings regarding the correlation between magnesium levels and stress.
Purpose of the study. This study aims to establish the relationship between magnesium and stress, providing a rationale for integrating magnesium deficiency correction into psychosocial rehabilitation programs.
Materials and methods of research. Bibliometric and analytical approaches were employed.
Research results. The review consolidates research on stress in Ukraine, incorporating personal observations and international data. It highlights the multifaceted influence of magnesium on stress occurrence, progression, and mitigation. Analysis reveals two escalating trends: heightened stress prevalence in the population and chronic latent magnesium deficiency. This underscores the intertwined nature of stress and magnesium levels. Further research is imperative to comprehensively understand the correlation between magnesium and stress, including assessing the efficacy of magnesium supplementation in addressing stress-related disorders. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine exacerbates stress levels, particularly among populations already experiencing chronic magnesium deficiency.
Conclusions and recommendations. Developing and implementing a program to assess and correct magnesium deficiency, integrating it into psychosocial rehabilitation programs for military personnel post-combat injuries and individuals affected by conflict-induced trauma, is warranted.
Keywords: stress, magnesium, deficiency, disease, correction, program.
