The results. It is scientifically substantiated, that among the leading theoretical foundations of hygienic diagnostics and prognostic assessment of the professional suitability of students who are studying dentistry, the following should be included: the determination of the peculiarities of the organization of the labor process and the data of the hygienic assessment of the working conditions of dentists during the use of the latest technologies of diagnosis, treatment and prevention; taking into account the results of psychophysiographic and psychographic assessment of the labor process in the main dental specialties; determining and taking into account the data of the hygienic assessment of the conditions of stay and the organization of daily activities, the level of educational adaptation and the state of health typical for students who learn the dental specialties in modern medical institutions of higher education; establishing the features of the processes of formation of professionally significant psychophysiological functions of the body and personality features of dental students at various stages of obtaining higher education; taking into account the leading trends of changes in terms of indicators of psychophysiological functions of the organism and characteristics of personality traits of students who acquire the dental profession both in traditional conditions and in preformed conditions due to the application of preventive measures.

Conclusions. Joint chronic administration of zinc and cadmium helps to reduce the concentration of cadmium in the liver of pregnant female rats. Isolated administration of cadmium chloride increases the activity of ALT and AST, which may be associated with a violation of the integrity of liver cells. When a complex of cadmium chloride and zinc succinate is administered, the activity of these enzymes decreases almost to the control level.
